Apleona gets a go-ahead for Weil am Rhein retail centre (DE)

The city of Weil am Rhein has issued a building permit for the planned shopping and service centre Dreiländergalerie in Weil am Rhein, Baden-Württemberg. Construction work for the centre, which is to be developed by Apleona Real Estate Management on behalf of the investor and contractor CEMAGG Weil am Rhein GmbH & Co. KG, is scheduled to begin in early summer and be completed by the end of 2019.

Based on designs by Chapman Taylor architects, the Dreiländergalerie will be constructed as a curving building complex on a site in downtown Weil am Rhein close to the Swiss border. The 16,500 m² centre will feature 60 stores, including restaurants and cafés, a daycare centre, and a three-story underground garage with 560 parking spaces.

Apleona Real Estate Management had already supported the investor during the tender process for the previously municipally owned land. As well as developing the construction project, Apleona is also responsible for representing the owner and will advise CEMAGG Weil am Rhein GmbH & Co. KG in all phases of the project.
