Apeiron acquires German logistics portfolio for €200m

Apeiron Capital, acting in partnership with Midas International Asset Management, has acquired of the 150,000m² “Maple” logistics portfolio in Germany for c.€200m. The investment was ultimately funded by South Korean institutional investors. The portfolio was acquired from the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP), one of Canada’s largest pension funds. The transaction continues Apeiron’s stated strategy of acquiring high-quality assets in key logistics locations across Europe. 

 

The 150,000m² portfolio comprises three assets in important German logistics locations, including a 100,000m² fulfilment centre let to a well-known e-commerce specialist. Each of the assets in the portfolio are well-positioned close to key domestic and international roads with excellent access to transport infrastructure. The weighted average lease term for the assets is close to 14 years.
