Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has been named the world's Best Airport by Buying Business Travel, a prestigious travel trade magazine in the United Kingdom. The Diamond Award was presented to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol executives at the Hurlingham Club in London.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was praised by readers for its AirportCity facilities and services. The airport's one-terminal concept is also greatly appreciated by U.K. travellers.
Other airports nominated for the award were Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Chicago.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has been honoured with 130 international awards since 1980. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was recently named Best Airport worldwide by U.S. travel magazine and website, The OutTraveler and Best Airport in Europe by Business Traveller U.K.
