AMB Property Europe B.V., an affiliate of AMB Property Corporation®, has announced that third-party logistics provider Menlo Worldwide has leased 6,500 m² at AMB Douglassingel Distribution Center, a distribution facility AMB developed at Schiphol.

"Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Europe's third largest airport for cargo volume, is a major driver in the Dutch economy. As an important hub, the airport offers excellent access to Europe's transportation network and attracts multinational companies." AMB's portfolio of operating properties in the Netherlands totals more than 215,000 m², of which more than 148,000 m² is adjacent to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Menlo Worldwide, a global logistics company specializing in the integration of all transportation, inventory management and distribution functions across the supply chain, will configure the space to expand its distribution management services for one of its main customers.

AMB Douglassingel Distribution Center is situated in Schiphol-Rijk Industrial Park, part of the main distribution area for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol which also includes Schiphol-Zuidoost and Schiphol-Oost. The site has convenient access to the A-4, A-5 and the A-9 highways and is located at the highly visible corner of the Fokkerweg, the Douglassingel and the Koolhovenlaan.
