AM (real estate development) has announced that it has finalized the take-over of De Wilgen Vastgoed, a specialist in project development in urban areas in the Randstad region, especially in the province of South-Holland. The take-over enables AM to further strenghten its market position in the Randstad.
The development portfolio of De Wilgen Vastgoed consists of approximately 2,000 dwellings and 50,000 m² of commercial real estate. Some of its major projects in development are:
- De Calypso in the city center of Rotterdam (408 apartments, 5,500 m² of offices, 1,600 m² of retail and leisure and 500 parking places)
- De Conrad in Zaandam (322 homes and apartments on the banks of the Zaan river)
- De Parktoren in Rotterdam-Prinsenland (80 apartments divided over 24 stories)
- De Schepenhof in Zaandam (202 apartments)
In addition, De Wilgen Vastgoed has several commercial real estate projects planned, amongst which a ca. 40,000-m² office complex and a ca. 10,000-m² logistics center, both situated at the Plaspoelpolder business district in Rijswijk.
The take-over of De Wilgen Vastgoed is in line with AM's growth strategy as a full-service area developer.
